RATCHABURI — A 60-year-old administrative official in Ratchaburi province was assassinated during a religious ceremony at a Buddhist temple in Ratchaburi province last night.

Jamnian Tiangtrong, a member of Don Sai Subdistrict Administrative Organization, was shot while he was walking in a procession with other temple-goers at Khao Tan Dharmasenani Temple at around 9pm, police said.
