Police officer in custody for allegedly killing a motorcycle rider early Sunday morning. The officer is suspected of running a red light at a high rate of speed.

The collision took place on the Bangkok bound side of Sukhumvit Road. The driver of the motorbike was dead on the scene and the officer was taken to the hospital to be tested for alcohol use.
