BANGKOK, 7 February 2015 (NNT) – The government is proactively tackling drought by improving the country’s water management. Small irrigation systems will be urgently constructed in all agricultural areas across the country.

Prime Minister Prayut Chan-o-cha said drought this year would likely worsen more than last year due to changing weather conditions.
