Chinese diamond robbery gang arrested at border

A Chinese robbery gang responsible for the stealing of diamonds from a jewelry shop at Muangthong Thani exhibition hall was arrested yesterday by immigration police at Poipet and sent back to Thailand.

The arrest came after Thai immigration police at Srakaew customs office was alerted by Pakkred police in Pathum Thani at 6.00 pm yesterday to help look for a Chinese gang after stealing diamonds from a jewelry shop at the gems and jewelry exhibition at Muangthong Thani.
