A man and a woman were arrested in the northeastern province of Loei Tuesday morning with 127 kilogrammes of heroin believed intended for trafficking to Malaysia or Australia.

After getting a tipoff, police and soldiers were waiting for the traffickers at a checkpoint in Ban Loei Wangsai of Wangsai sub-district in Phu Luang district early Tuesday.
