Phitsanulok province warns local residents of flood disaster

BANGKOK, 5 September 2014 (NNT) – The extensive rainfall in the northern part of Thailand have caused higher water levels in several distributaries flowing into the Chao Phraya River. Therefore, the level of water in the Chao Phraya Dam downstream, has risen about one meter.

Water from Sukhothai province flooded into Phrom Phiram district today, affecting many subdistricts: Wongkong, Wangwon, Nongkham, Sripirom, Matong, Tubyaichiang and Dongprakam subdistricts.
