Thai police beef up security at Israeli embassy in Bangkok

BANGKOK, July 25 – Thai police have deployed three companies of officers to increase security and oversee conveniences at the Israel Embassy in Bangkok, while various groups of Muslims planned to gather to celebrate International Al-Quds Day.

Al-Quds Day is an annual event held on the last Friday of Ramadan to express solidarity with the Palestinian people and to oppose Israel’s control of Jerusalem.
