An estimated 300 angry lottery ticket vendors from provinces outside Bangkok staged a protest and blocked the road leading to the Government Lottery Office headquarters to press demands for lower wholesale ticket prices.

The protest blocked the main road in the Sanambinnam area of Nonthaburi province, just to the north of Bangkok.
