Mukdahan residents warned of flash floods as heavy rain approaches

Mukdahan, 25 June 2014 (NNT) – People in Mukdahan have been warned of flash floods as heavy rains are expected between July 26-30 due to the stronger southwest monsoon and low pressure area are covering the upper part of Vietnam and the Gulf of Tonkin, according to Mukdahan governor Sakolkrit Boonpradit.

The Mekong River level is now at 7.52 meters, still lower than the crisis level when it reached 12.50 meters.
