Tourists warned of currents at famous Chao Lao and Laem Sadej beaches

CHANTABURI, 21 June 2014 (NNT) – Strong currents and large waves are reported at Chantaburi’s popular Chao Lao and Laem Sadej beaches while local entrepreneurs put up “No Swimming” warning signs for tourists. As a result, fewer visitors traveled to the beaches.

According to the Chantaburi Provincial Meteorological Office, there’s a 60 percent chance of thunderstorms and 2-3 meter waves are expected in the eastern region accompanying the southwest monsoon.
