US not taking sides in Thailand’s conflicts

BANGKOK, June 20 – The United States is not taking sides in Thailand’s political conflicts, according to US Ambassador to Thailand Kristie Kenney.

Ms Kenney joined a meeting with Democrat Party leader Abhisit Vejjajiva concerning Thailand’s political situation at party headquarters in Bangkok on Friday, stressing that the US held talks with all sides concerned and does not choose sides.
