Two Iraqi nationals thought to be part of a large international criminal gang were arrested in Pattaya on Thursday morning.

34-year-old Haider Adel Twaiur and 40-year-old Talal Tarik Alsadune were caught in the act of burgling a room in the View Talay Holiday Resort on Jomtien Second Road after the police were tipped off. One of the men was found in a car waiting to make a speedy getaway while the other is alleged to have swiped a digital camera, a silver necklace, two wrist watches and some foreign currency.
