DSI to send police assault units to arrest PDRC leaders

BANGKOK, 15 May 2014 (NNT) – The Department of Special Investigations’ (DSI) Chief has disclosed that police assault units have been deployed to arrest core PDRC leaders.

DSI Chief Tharit Pengdit revealed that the Criminal Court has already approved an arrest warrant against 30 leaders from the People’s Democratic Reform Committee (PDRC) and the Students and People’s Network for Thailand’s Reform (STR), who are all accused of insurrection.
