Criminal Court issues arrest warrants for 30 protest leaders

BANGKOK, 14 May 2014 (NNT) – The Criminal Court has granted arrest warrants for 30 anti-government leaders while 13 others were spared as they are in the period of their temporary release.

At the Department of Special Investigation’s request, the Court today issued arrest warrants for a total of 30 core leaders of the People’s Democratic Reform Committee (PDRC) and the Students and People Network for Thailand’s Reform (STR) on eight different charges, including insurrection and terrorism.
