NAKHON SI THAMMARAT, 23 April 2014 (NNT) – The Nakhon Si Thammarat Airport is seriously affected by wildfire smoke. A number of firefighters have been sent to put out the fire in the nearby forest.

Director of the Nakhon Si Thammarat Airport Kittichai Satchalak said the wildfires near the airport was sending thick smoke to its runway and covering more than 60% of the airport, especially the air transport center of the Chevron company. The center was heavily covered by the smoke.
