Thai satellite spots floating objects in Malaysian Airlines plane search

BANGKOK, March 27 – The Thai satellite “Thaichote” has spotted some 300 pieces of floating objects in Indian Ocean potentially related to the missing Malaysia Airlines aircraft, according to satellite images collected by the Geo-Informatics and the Space Technology Development Agency (GISTDA).

GISTDA director Dr Anon Sanitwong na Ayutthaya said on Thursday that some 300 white objects were captured floating in the southern Indian Ocean on March 24 at 10am Thailand time, and was about 2,700km southwest of Perth, Australia.
