The Pattaya Traffic Police Officer, currently under investigation following a video posted on You Tube, reportedly showing him slapping a female Russian Tourist, has now claimed he did not slap the Russian and only attempted to prevent her from filming him after he dealt with her and her boyfriend during a routine traffic stop.

The officer involved in the controversy is Police Senior Sergeant Major Nopagit aged 40 who reported to Police Colonel Suwan, the Pattaya Police Chief, following an internal investigation prompted by the viral video which was also shared multiple times on Facebook.
