One dead in fireworks factory explosion in Ang Thong

ANG THONG, 21 December 2013 (NNT) – One worker was found dead as a result of an explosion at a firecracker factory in Ang Thong Province.

After receiving a report of an explosion that led to many people injured and one dead, Ang Thong Governor Pawin Chamniprasad, along with Pho Thong District Police and bomb squad, inspected the exploded firework factory.

The factory is divided into two buildings; one for packaging process and another one for mixing ingredients. The building for mixing ingredient was the exploded one, located around 20 meters away from the next building.
