7-Eleven robbery caught-on-tape in Pattaya store

Early on Saturday Morning a South Pattaya Branch of 7-Eleven was the target of a robbery by a man, thought to be Thai and working alone.

Police were called to branch number 2303 on the South Pattaya Road and met with Khun Angsuda aged 21, a worker at the 24 hour convenience store who described and then showed investigators what happened on the security camera system.

As Khun Angsuda was serving one of her work colleagues who was just ending her night shift, a man, described as tall, wearing a baseball cap, white & black t-shirt and black jeans, placed an item on the counter as if he was going to pay for it. As the cash draw opened for the off-duty shop worker, the man jumped over the counter and pointed something sharp in the side of Khun Angsuda who was pushed aside as the assailant took 2,698 Baht from the Till.
