2-3 million people expected at mass rallies against PM Yingluck Shinawatra on Sunday: PDRC

BANGKOK, Dec 21 – A spokesman from the anti-government People’s Democratic Reform Committee (PDRC) said the group expected some 2-3 million would turn up on Sunday to join the PDRC’s rallies at many locations in Bangkok to pressure caretaker Prime Minister Yingluck Shinawatra to resign.

Akanat Promphan, the spokesman, said activities would start at 1 pm and expected some 2-3 million people would join the mass demonstrations.
