Flooded Amata Nakorn Industrial Estate back to normal

BANGKOK, Oct 22 – All factories at the Amata Industrial Estate in the eastern seaboard province of Chonburi have resumed operation after flood waters were pumped out, according to a company executive.

Viboon Kromadit, chief marketing officer of Amata Corporation, said 43 boats and more than 100 pumps jointly drained waters into nearby Bang Pakong River after the industrial park was flooded by 15-20 cm deep, particularly at the Phase 7 industrial project.
