Big fire near Walking Street in Pattaya engulfs shops
PATTAYA, 22 October 2013 (NNT) – A major fire broke out on Tuesday afternoon at Pattaya’s Walking Street, sending flames and smoke climbing into the sky.
The fire, which reportedly started at a four-story building in the Walking Street area, spread to nearby establishments. So far, 20 shops in the vicinity have been burnt down.
Firefighters rushed to the site of the blaze but have not been able to control the fire, as their efforts are hampered by heavy rains and strong winds.
