Anti-government group to rally at Lumpini Park, Bangkok

BANGKOK, Aug 3 – An anti-government group, the People’s Army Against the Thaksin Regime, has announced it will hold a mass rally at Lumpini Park on Sunday, affirming that the demonstration would be a peaceful gathering.

Adm Chai Suwanparp, Adm Preecha Iamsuphan and Thaikorn Polsuwan, the leaders of the group said that the rally could not be held at the Royal Turf Club of Thailand or Nang Lerng horseracing track as plan, so the group would opt for Lumpini Park and the rally would start at 3pm.
