Army ranger, insurgent, killed in Narathiwat clash

NARATHIWAT, May 23 – One army ranger volunteer and a suspected insurgent were killed in a clash late last night in this restive southern province.

The armed engagement occurred as army rangers sealed off a village in Cho-airong district after intelligence reports confirmed a group of suspected insurgents were hiding in a house there.
