Fire breaks out at warehouse in Lamphun

BANGKOK, 22 April 2013(NNT) – Fire has broken out at a warehouse in Lamphun Province, causing over 10 million baht in damage.

The fire had lasted for at least 2 hours before it was extinguished by firefighters with the help of 30 fire trucks. The warehouse belonged to a sanitary ware company.

According to officers, the warehouse is used to store plastic and wooden boxes which are very easy to catch fire. To make matters worse, the warehouse on the 3-rai land had only one entrance which made it difficult for the firefighters to control the fire, causing to flame to go out of hand.
