Princess Sirindhorn opens Police Museum in Bangkok

BANGKOK, 29 March 2013 (NNT) – Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn yesterday morning presided over the opening of the ‘Police Museum Parusakawan Palace’, located in the Metropolitan Police Bureau’s Headquarters, in Dusit district, Bangkok.

The Royal Thai Police has recently renovated the 107-year-old Parusakawan Building near the Royal Plaza into a museum building, in its project to honor Their Majesties the King and Queen. Upon its completion, the museum is designed to house objects and documents related to the history of the Royal Thai Police.

Apart from the 2-storey European style Parusakawan building, the Police Museum also comprises a newly built glass house standing nearby.
