Thai children want high-end gadgets as gifts from Yingluck

BANGKOK, Jan 11 – Thai youngsters want iPads, tablet computers and smartphones as gifts and will go to amusement parks on Children’s Day, according to a university survey.

A poll conducted by Bangkok University among 1,115 children aged 6-14 in Bangkok and its suburbs found the majority of children wanted their parents to take them to amusement parks on National Children’s Day. The second favourite destinations are beaches and zoos.
