Nakhon Si Thammarat airport resumes service

NAKHON SI THAMMARAT, Aug 14 – Nakhon Si Thammarat Airport resumed service this morning after a temporary suspension on Monday afternoon due to dense smoke from nearby grassland fires.

Nakhon Si Thammarat Governor Wiroj Jiwarangsan said that the grass fire near the airport runway was completely extinguished by 11pm last night and that airlines could operate normally this morning.
