A court on Wednesday sentenced Prachatai’s webmaster to an eight-month suspended jail term for failing to act quickly enough to remove Internet posts deemed insulting to the monarch.

The term of punishment for Chiranuch Premchaiporn, webmaster of Prachatai news website, was reduced from one year.
