Two kindergartens in Yala were closed after some students were found to be infected with hand, foot and mouth disease, Dr Peerapong Paowanasutipaisit, director of Yala Hospital said yesterday.

The doctor said that since May 23, the hospital had treated 28 students from kindergartens in the municipality and found them infected with the disease.
