Three arrested in Bangkok with 2.5 million meth pills, 50 kg of ice

BANGKOK, March 17 – Three suspects were arrested by Thai authorities with 2.5 million methamphetamine pills and 50 kg of crystal meth or ‘ice’ were seized on the departure level of Suvarnabhumi airport in Samut Prakan.

Deputy Prime Minister Chalerm Yubumrung, in his capacity as the Director of the National Command Center for Drugs (NCCD), Office of the Narcotics Control Board (ONCB) Secretary General Pol Gen Adul Sangsingkeo and the Department of Special Investigation Director General Tharit Pengdit held a joint press conference over the arrest.
