Police have issued a summons for the driver of a public-transport van that crashed into a semi-trailer in Samut Prakan’s Bang Bo district Friday morning, killing six passengers and injuring seven. The driver, who fled the scene of the crash, has been ordered to report to police investigators by Monday.

Driver Somboon Thachalard, 39, fled the scene on the Bangkok-Chon Buri motorway and so far had not contacted police.
