Suspected drug traders held in Chiang Mai

Thai Narcotics Suppression officers have arrested five suspected drug traders in Chiang Mai and seized more than 8 million baht worth of crystal methamphetamine, or ya ice.

The five men were apprehended on the San Kamphaeng-Doi Saket road in Chiang Mai’s Doi Saket district at around noon on Sunday in a police sting operation. The suspects were allegedly delivering about 6kg of ice to police informants.
