US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton will be stopping off in Bangkok next Wednesday on her way to Indonesia, where she will be attending a meeting with Asean leaders.

The US Embassy in Bangkok said the visit was aimed at underscoring the strong bilateral ties and Washington’s support for Thailand’s recovery efforts following the severe flooding.
