Thai Prime Minister Yingluck Shinawatra on Thursday denied as baseless the reports in some media that she would step down in a show of responsibility for failing to resolve the flood crisis.

Ms Yingluck insisted that she has no thought of resigning but would continue to put her utmost effort into doing her job as the prime minister in settling the problems facing the nation.
