NEW YORK : The United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime director-general has praised Thailand for its renewed attempts to continue fighting drugs, says the foreign minister.

Surapong Tovichakchaikul said yesterday UNODC chief Yury Fedotov applauded the Yingluck Shinawatra government for its efforts to launch a new war on drugs.
