New cabinet lineup expected 1-2 weeks after election results endorsed: Yingluck

BANGKOK, July 10 – Thailand’s prime minister-to-be Yingluck Shinawatra on Sunday said the list of cabinet members should be done in one or two weeks after the Election Commission (EC) endorses the July 3 election results, while reaffirming that her cabinet line-up has not been influenced by her brother, self-exiled ex-premier Thaksin Shinawatra.

The top Pheu Thai party list candidate made remarks following reports that several elected Pheu Thai MPs and de facto leader of Chart Thai Pattana Party, Banharn Silpa-archa met the deposed premier Thaksin in Brunei to discuss open ministerial posts.
