Three slain by gunmen in Pattani
Three people were shot dead by militants in Thung Yang Daeng district of Pattani province on Tuesday.
Police said the attack happened shortly after noon at a garage in tambon Nam Dam where six men were having tea.
Eyewitnesses told police that a number of men arrived in a black pick-up truck and opened fire on the men in the garage with assault rifles.
Also a 69-year-old man was shot dead in Yala.
