BANGKOK, March 23 — Army Commander-in-Chief Gen Prayuth Chan-ocha has ordered Fourth Army Area commander to review the plan to remove an military outpost in the southern province of Narathiwat’s Rueso district.

Villagers in the district earlier protested the government’s decision to tear down the outpost and withdraw the soldiers stationed there. They said the troops make them safer, and demanded that they stay.
