BANGKOK, Oct 23- Thailand’s 82-year-old monarch made an appearance along with Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn late Saturday afternoon to lay a wreath at the King Rama V Statue at Siriraj Hospital, marking the 100th anniversary of Chulalongkorn Day.

In a pink suit with a white-pink striped shirt and grey pants, His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej was wheeled while holding a leash for his dog. HM the King has spent over a year at the hospital.

Overwhelmed well-wishers lined up on this day at the hospital waiting to see him and be respectfully in his presence.
