His Majesty the King has recovered from his fever and is now eating and sleeping well, the Royal Household Bureau says.
His body temperature has returned to normal and the medical team has reduced his intravenous drip and antibiotics intake, the bureau said yesterday in its fourth statement since His Majesty entered hospital.
The King was admitted to Siriraj Hospital on Saturday with a fever, fatigue and loss of appetite.
Meanwhile, senior Phra Sangkhathikarn monks in Bangkok will deliver a prayer on Monday for His Majesty’s health, the Office of National Buddhism said.
The prayer and religious rites will be held at the Temple of the Emerald Buddha at the Grand Palace starting at 4pm.
