Receptionist Murdered in Brutal Iron Bar Attack in Hua Hin

HUA HIN – A hotel receptionist was brutally murdered in the early hours of Thursday morning when a man entered a hotel in Hua Hin and attacked her with an iron bar. The incident, captured on CCTV, occurred around 3:07 a.m. at the hotel’s reception counter in Hua Hin district, Prachuap Khiri Khan province.

Swedish Drug Trafficker Arrested in Hua Hin Condo

Security footage shows the suspect, described as between 35 and 40 years old, approaching the counter while the victim was on the phone. He then moved behind the counter and struck her repeatedly on the head with a metal object. After the attack, he fled the scene with stolen items belonging to the victim, Khaosod reported.

Police are investigating the killing and have obtained an arrest warrant from the Hua Hin Provincial Court for the man seen in the CCTV images. Authorities are analyzing the footage, collecting witness statements, and tracing the suspect’s escape route.

The public is urged to contact Hua Hin Police Station or call the emergency hotline 191 immediately if they recognize the individual or have any information about his whereabouts. The case has left the local community on high alert as the search for the suspect continues.
