Yulia had relocated to Thailand two years ago with her children and partner after selling her possessions in Russia, seeking a fresh start. Friends reported she faced significant financial hardship and struggled to adapt to life abroad, often appealing for work through social media to support her family. Her sudden death has triggered an urgent repatriation effort for her children, aged nine and ten, who are currently in temporary care in Phuket.

The children’s father, who remains in Magadan, has launched an online campaign to raise 260,000 rubles to cover the high cost of repatriation flights during peak travel season.
