Pattaya, July 7, 2025 – A 70-year-old South Korean national fell to his death from a Jomtien Beach hotel Sunday night, with authorities yet to determine whether the incident was accidental or intentional.

Hotel security guard Ruangdet Chomphuteep, 47, alerted police after hearing a loud impact around 10 PM. He discovered the man’s lifeless body at the base of the nine-story building. Pattaya police are examining surveillance footage and interviewing witnesses to establish the circumstances surrounding the fall.
