Chinese Nationals Flee Pattaya Hotel After Fatal Fall of Comrade
Pattaya, July 5, 2025 – A group of Chinese nationals hastily evacuated a North Pattaya hotel on Friday afternoon, taking computers and luggage with them shortly after their compatriot fell to his death from the sixth floor in suspicious circumstances.

The incident occurred at approximately 1:55 PM when CCTV footage captured 24-year-old Liu Song plummeting onto his back before briefly sitting up and collapsing again. Moments later, a man in a red shirt rushed to inspect the body but quickly retreated inside.
Within minutes, surveillance cameras showed multiple Chinese individuals hurriedly exiting the premises with electronic equipment and personal belongings. By 2:17 PM, six vehicles—including a Mercedes-Benz—arrived to facilitate their swift departure.

Police identified signs of an abrupt evacuation in the hotel rooms and are now scouring CCTV footage to track down the fleeing group. Investigators have not yet determined whether the fall was accidental or linked to possible illicit activities, but the suspicious behavior of Liu’s associates has raised alarms.
