Chinese Tourist, 22, Falls to Death from Pattaya Hotel
PATTAYA — A 22-year-old Chinese national was found dead early Sunday morning after falling from the 21st floor of a hotel on Pattaya Sai 2 Road. Authorities were alerted to the incident at 8:06 AM.

Responding officers found the man’s body lying on the ground adjacent to the hotel building. His identity has not yet been released, and the name of the hotel has been withheld pending investigation.
Initial findings by investigators indicated the man had been staying alone in a room on the 21st floor. There were no signs of forced entry, theft, or struggle in the room, police said.

CCTV footage from the hotel lobby showed the man briefly interacting with staff, asking about a nearby convenience store before returning to his room shortly before the fall.

The body has been transferred to Police General Hospital in Bangkok for a full autopsy. Authorities are working to contact the man’s family and the Chinese embassy while continuing the investigation to determine whether the fall was accidental or intentional.
