Responding officers found the man’s body lying on the ground adjacent to the hotel building. His identity has not yet been released, and the name of the hotel has been withheld pending investigation.

Initial findings by investigators indicated the man had been staying alone in a room on the 21st floor. There were no signs of forced entry, theft, or struggle in the room, police said.

CCTV footage from the hotel lobby showed the man briefly interacting with staff, asking about a nearby convenience store before returning to his room shortly before the fall.
