85-Year-Old Man Walks 14 Days from Nakhon Ratchasima to Chonburi After Failing to Find His Son

On December 9th, local media reported that an 85-year-old man, who is blind in his right eye, had been walking with a cane for 14 days from Nakhon Ratchasima to Chonburi. He had gone to Nakhon Ratchasima to search for his eldest son, whom he hadn’t seen in 9 years. After asking neighbors, he still couldn’t find his son’s whereabouts.

The man had initially brought 2,000 baht with him, but it was all spent on motorcycle taxi fares while searching for his son. With only 8 baht left, he decided to walk back to his hometown in Koh Pho in the Phanasnikhom district in Chonburi. During his journey, he only had one set of clothes and had to sleep wherever he could.
