Japanese Man Arrested in Bangkok for Visa Overstay and Threats Against Ex-Girlfriend

At 10:30 AM, on July 10th, 2024, Muang Thong Thani immigration officers and relevant agencies in Bangkok held a press conference on the arrest of a Japanese national allegedly involved in a transnational crime syndicate.

The suspect, publicly identified only as Mr. Ichiro (30), had overstayed his visa and had threatened to kill his ex-girlfriend, according to the officers.
