Pattaya mayor says COVID–19 situation still under control in the city

Pattaya – The Covid–19 situation is still under control and traditional Songkran activities can still be held, said the Pattaya City mayor this afternoon while speaking to local news media.

The Pattaya City Mayor Sonthaya Khunplume told The Pattaya News, “Chonburi is now still in the yellow zone (referring to provincial designations set by the Thai government based on Covid-19 risk) and we have been told we will stay here for now. There are no travel restrictions, quarantines, or blocks against coming or leaving Chonburi at this time.”
