Thailand records 175 new COVID-19 cases on Wednesday

New COVID-19 infections in Thailand today (Wednesday) soared back into three-digits with 175 cases, compared to yesterday’s 72, with Pathum Thani having the most at 82, followed by 73 cases in Samut Sakhon, said CCSA spokesman Dr. Taweesin Visanuyothin at a news briefing today.
Of the new cases, 168 were locally-acquired and seven are arrivals in state quarantine from the United Arab Emirates, Myanmar, Britain, Japan and Austria.
